Sarvet, with a cameo role in Troll-magic, was the first Hammarleeding to walk into my imagination, and her appearance birthed an entire culture in my mind’s eye.

I became fascinated by the Hammarleedings and by Sarvet’s family, so much so that I’ve written a novel, two novellas, and a short story about them. I have an entire series planned for Sarvet herself. I want to write a short story about Sarvet’s grandson Rede. And I’m longing to write 2 tales about Sarvet’s son Jorgan—one a novella and the other a doorstopper novel.
