I had so much fun writing the seven tales in The Hades Cycle. I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I enjoyed writing them. Tale One is now available on Amazon and in the Kindle Unlimited subscription program.

And when Phoebe chooses a protector other than the often-absent Artemis, she courts a danger far worse than cruel taunts or stinging slaps. Unless she learns to value herself for herself—rather than depending on the regard of others—she will perish in Hades’ depths.

Newly Released: Right, Wrong, and Amazing

And now for something completely different! 😀

I usually write fantasy. Sometimes I write science fiction. But this time I was inspired to tell the story of a mother and her teenage daughter living in our own 21st century. There’s no magic in it at all, unless you count the magic of a mother’s love for her child.

Sometimes there’s no way to be right. Sometimes you must simply show up and hope that wrong will be enough…

Newly Released: Read-Only Ash

Before I started writing regularly every week, I’d envisioned myself creating fantasy and science fiction. But when I actually sat down at my keyboard three mornings a week (and then five days a week), the stories all seemed to be fantasy.

I was surprised, but okay with it. As long as I was telling stories, I was happy.

Then, 7 years into my writing journey, a science fiction tale collared my muse, and I wrote what would eventually become “Read-Only Ash.” As of this week, “Read-Only Ash” is available for your reading pleasure in both ebook and paperback editions. 😀
